all the hard work a remote lifestyle can be and the beauty that is Alaska.

Your gateway to fine art photography and hundreds of photo gifts, we are located in beautiful Southeast Alaska. Our cabin sits hidden in the trees above a peaceful remote cove on a small island. With no road access we travel by boat, there are no power, phone or water lines, and TV is out of the question. We use a generator, wind mill and batteries for power with wood for heat & much of our cooking. Water is collected off the roof and catchment system and outside communication is through a marine radio and our Starband satellite system.

People often ask "what do you do?" - the answer is mostly chop wood, shovel snow and haul water!

We also find time for fishing, crabbing, clamming, canoeing & kayaking. Hiking with our Newfoundlands is an everyday delight, and once in awhile we have the camera with allowing us to offer fine art photography from our remote paradise in Southeast Alaska. Enjoy your visit while you view Alaskan scenery and wildlife at it's best.
